Registration and submission procedure

Registration

To begin the registration process for JED, you have to proceed to the designated Registration page And follow these steps:

  • Visit the JED Registration page.
  • Log in to your Science Conf account. If you don’t already have it, create one.
  • Fill out the registration form accurately.
  • Submit the registration form.

Once you have finished, you will receive an automatic email confirming your registration request.

Abstract for talk and poster

To submit an abstract, you must first register for the conference (see paragraph above). Then, go to the New submission page and choose whether to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or a poster. You will then need to write your text directly into Science Conf. The length of the abstract should not exceed 500 words and should not contain any images. Only one abstract may be submitted (oral presentation or poster).

After your submission, you will receive an automatic email confirming the receipt of your abstract. We will inform you later, one and a half months before the JED, whether your abstract has been accepted or not.

 

Additional information to prepare your talk or poster

Presentations will take the form of a 15-minute oral presentation (12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions). Posters must be in A0 format. All presentations and support materials must be in English.

Your talk or poster should provide an overview of the context, challenges, and advancements related to your work. Avoid delving into the theoretical and technical details of your field of study, as the JED audience may not be specialists in your area.

 

Deadline

The deadline for registration is set for 1 May, and abstract submission for 16 April.
